Come in Costume!

Come fill Rockport's streets with wings, greenmen, medieval dresses and fairy wands.
Costumes and accessories of all kinds can be found through Google and on eBay.
Of course, you don't have to dress up.

Make Fairy Music!

Bring your rattles, flutes, harmonicas, accordions, castanets...
There is nothing quite so wonderful as music in the streets - especially when performed by fairies, gnomes, mermaids, elves and other magical creatures!
(Do NOT bring Drums, Bagpipes & other loud instruments.
They are wonderful, but not for this event.
Do NOT bring amplifiers. We are acoustic!)

Fairy Cake Offering!

We will have an offering of "fairy cakes" to the wee folk. They like sweets, you know.
Bring fairy cakes to offer the fairies - and of course, some for yourself!

Bring Your Camera!

Plenty of picture-taking opportunities.

Circle Dance!

We will all gather at Seafencibles Park (White Wharf, down the little dirt road to the left on Bearskin Neck) for a Circle Dance.

Bring Wildflower Seeds!

Strew wildflower and other kinds of seeds in Seafencibles Park,
site of Opening and Closing Ceremonies and the Circle Dance.
Leave behind seeds of beauty to fill the space so generously shared with us by the Elementals.
They, as well as our neighbors, and all the visitors to Rockport who share the park with them all summer long,
will enjoy the flowers long after
the 3rd Annual Fairy, Gnome & Mermaid Celebration
has come to an end.

Opening Ceremony on Saturday
Closing Ceremony on Sunday

Many of Rockport's shops will be offering special events & sales.
